RAWC Phase 2 Guidelines

Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC)
Phase 2 Patron Guidelines and Information
Effective June 29, 2020
The Recreation and Wellness Center will implement policy and procedures to meet and exceed local, state, and CDC COVID-19 guidelines and ensure the safety of all RAWC guest and staff.  
Navigating RAWC Entry and Use during Phase 2 
All patrons will be checked at the front desk with infrared thermometer prior to entry into the main facility.  (Patrons with temperatures above 100.4 degrees will not be admitted)
All Patrons will be screened with COVID-19 related assessment questions prior to entry into main facility. 
All Patrons must wear masks while inside the RAWC.  (Exception when utilizing cardio machines and strength equipment)
All Patrons must wipe machines with RAWC provided gym wipes prior to and after use of machines. 
All Patrons are encouraged to stay right when walking up and down stairs and wear gloves when utilizing the hand railing. 
 
What is not available in the RAWC during Phase 2 
The following services and activity areas are not available: 
RAWC Wall, Outdoor Volleyball Courts, Intramural Fields.
 
What are the Pool Hours?
The RAWC pool will operate with limited hours related to staff availability.  Please check the OBU Facebook page, OBU Recreation and Wellness Center, for up to date pool hours.  We also encourage patrons to call our front desk prior to arrival for pool availability confirmation.  Our front desk can be reached at 405.585.5220. 
 
Will my RAWC membership be extended?
Due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic and closure of OBU campus, the RAWC will extend all paid membership expiration dates.  Membership expiration dates will be extended the amount of time the RAWC was closed to when that member first returns to the RAWC (first check-in) after reopening.  Please contact Debbie Jack, Membership Service Coordinator at debbie.jack@okbu.edu or 405.585.5225 for questions regarding membership status, etc...
