Local Outreach


Bridge the gap between the elderly and the young. Age2Age meets to both visit with and worship with residents of local nursing homes. Mondays @ 6pm in Mont. Hall.


You are in a strange land filled with exotic foods and odd people. No, you aren't in some other country, you are right here in Shawnee. Help international students assimilate and feel more comfortable as they acclimate to this strange land. Tuesdays @ 7pm in the upstairs Taylor lobby.

Hope House

Don't forget about them! Spend time at a temporary youth shelter here in Shawnee. Read, play, and hang out with youth and children in a high risk situation for just an hour a week. Mondays @ 6:15pm in the GC.

Mission Center

Travel to OKC and impacts lives through games, Bible stories, and sharing hope with children in downtown OKC. Impact lives. Fridays @ 5pm by the clock tower.

Mission Shawnee

Share the good news about Jesus while making sure the electric bills are paid and the cabinets are filled with groceries. Volunteers can help in classrooms, in the kitchen, and by spending time with students throughout the week and playing games with them in the gym. Sundays, Tuesdays, & Wednesdays.

Spero Project

Help refugees as they adjust to life in the United States by tutoring them in conversational English and basic American life skills. Thursdays @ 6pm at Mont. Hall.

Habitat for Humanity

An ecumenical Christian housing organization that works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. Volunteers provide most of the labor to build Habitat houses. Alternating Saturdays.

Family Promise

Mobilizing the faith community to help homeless families with children regain their self-sustainability. Volunteer anything from one evening a week to once or twice a semester.

On the Ground

A ministry committed to connect with local efforts to help those in need. We desire to serve within the context of Shawnee and represent Christ while growing in community with one another. We meet Sunday's at 2:00 in Montgomery Hall.
