Local Outreach

Age2Age

This is a wonderful avenue to bridge the gap between the elderly and the young. Age2Age meets to both visit and worship with residents of local nursing homes.

Hope House

This your opportunity to spend time at a temporary youth shelter in Shawnee. You will read, play, and hang out with youth and children in a high-risk situation.

Mission Exchange

Through this ministry, you will travel to OKC and impact the lives of others through games, Bible stories, and sharing hope with children in downtown OKC.

Spero Project

This project serves the needs of refugees as they adjust to life in the United States. Activities include tutoring in conversational English, helping with basic needs, and sharing the love of Christ in the context of relationships. Contact global.outreach@okbu.edu for more information.

Cargo Ranch

Did you know you can impact the lives of youth in Shawnee through horsemanship? Anyone can get involved in this gospel-centered ministry which includes mentorship, horsemanship, and maintaining or improving the facilities.

Prayer for the Nations

Come together with other OBU students to pray for our campus and for the nations to be reached with the gospel.

Project:Safe
