Apply for admission to the university and submit required documents.
You will receive a letter from the Office of Student Financial Services soon after your acceptance letter. This letter will indicate your academic scholarship and any denominational awards for which you qualify according to our records.
You must complete the FAFSA. If you do not submit FAFSA information to us, you are hindering us from offering you the best financial aid package possible. Make sure you use OBU’s school code, 00316400, so that we get your information.
Respond quickly to requests of additional documentation. Requested documents are also noted in Self-Service Banner under the Financial Aid tab and then, Eligibility tabs.
Review and respond to your award letter. You will receive an email (and letter a few days later) when your awards are ready. Follow the instructions on the award notification.
Follow-up on your awards. Based on your Accept/Decline decisions of the financial aid awards, there may be additional steps to complete. The instructions will be on the same page as your awards in Self-Service Banner.
