Preparing Students for What’s Next

Our nursing graduates five-year-average NCLEX pass rate is an astounding 92%, well above the national average of 80%. As a result, a nursing degree from OBU will all but guarantee you multiple job offers upon graduation. Nursing opportunities are numerous in hospitals, doctor’s offices, long-term care and mental health facilities, and serving as a visiting or traveling nurse. These are just a few of the options waiting for you beyond Bison Hill.

Class of 2023

“OBU has prepared us for our careers by pushing us to the edge of our current practice. The best example of this is through simulation lab. The goal in lab is to learn. It is ok to make mistakes, we can restart the mannequins. By pushing us to the edge in SIM, we are less likely to be overwhelmed by something wild that we may come across in clinical practice because of what we have already experienced.”

Incredible Education, Affordable Cost.

OBU provides a minimum $10,000 per year scholarship to every incoming first-time freshman and $8,000 to every incoming transfer student. And you could qualify for even more financial aid! Many of our students also receive money through federal Pell grants and OBU Bison Grants.

To get an estimate of what your cost to attend OBU might be, please check out our Net Price Calculator. We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with how affordable an OBU education really is. Especially considering the incredible academic quality, personal mentor relationships with faculty and staff, and strong Christian commitment you will experience at OBU. You won’t find an experience like this anywhere else!
