Registration

Students can follow the instructions below to complete the registration process. Click on one of the links to find information for your classification, or to gain helpful registration details.

Registration Information

Access to registration, either online or in person, begins with seniors and graduate level students. Overall Hours Earned includes Spring 2020 hours enrolled.

Hold Information

Every student must acknowledge his/her understanding of both the Tuition Promissory Note and the Student Handbook before he/she will be allowed to register for classes for the upcoming term.


Current Graduate Students 

GRADUATE STUDENTS BEGIN REGISTERING April 6 either online or in person in the Academic Center. Note: online opens at 7:00 a.m.; Academic Center opens at 7:00 a.m.


Current Seniors (90 hours or more already earned including current classes)

SENIORS BEGIN REGISTERING April 6 either online or in person in the Academic Center. Note: online opens at 7:00 a.m.; Academic Center opens at 7:00 a.m.


Current Juniors (60 to 89 hours already earned including current classes)

JUNIORS BEGIN REGISTERING April 7 either online or in person in the Academic Center. Note: online opens at 7:00 a.m.; Academic Center opens at 7:00 a.m.


Current Sophomores (30 to 59 hours already earned including current classes)

SOPHOMORES BEGIN REGISTERING April 8 either online or in person in the Academic Center. Note: online opens at 7:00 a.m.; Academic Center opens at 7:00 a.m.


Current Freshman (0 to 29 hours already earned including current classes)

FRESHMEN BEGIN REGISTERING April 9 either online or are encouraged to attend the Freshman Registration Party in the lower level of the Geiger Center beginning at 7:00 a.m. Academic Center, Financial Aid, Success Center, and Academic Deans will be available at the Registration Party.  Note: online opens at 7:00 a.m.

The Academic Center will send email alerts regarding registration information. All changes to the database and all closed classes will be reflected on the online schedule in Self Service Banner! The email alerts are sent to all active OBU (okbu.edu domain name) email accounts.
