Welcome Week

You won't want to miss out on Welcome Week. This is a time for you to make new friends, learn OBU traditions, and participate in some good fun. Make sure to use #obuww in social media posts and follow our accounts!

Follow Welcome Week activities on our Facebook page. We will post photos each day of Welcome Week. This is a great way for you to catch some of the spirit of our orientation week.


Move-In Day checklist

  • Stop by the TENT south of the Geiger Center (GC) to pick up your Welcome Week T-Shirt and nametag
  • Buy your books (downstairs GC – make sure you have your fall class schedule with you)
  • Get your ID (GC 209)
  • Get your mail key (downstairs GC – have your OBU ID or driver’s license with you)
  • Get your parking sticker (In your Residence Hall or Cashier’s Window at Thurmond Hall)
  • Get hooked up to the OBU network (see Computer Services Staff in your residence hall lobby)
  • Have questions?? See the INFORMATION table in the downstairs GC

  • The Lodge Resident Director will meet with new male students in the 1st Floor Lodge Lobby.
