For non-residential/commuter students, please join us throughout the day before your new student orientation and take advantage of the opportunities to connect with key student services on campus and get acclimated. Check-in with us in the lower Geiger Center at the Welcome Table.
For residential students, please only begin to move in your belongings during your designated move-in time. If you have not yet booked a time, please make your reservation as soon as possible.
As much as possible, pack all of your belongings in sealed bins and boxes labeled with your name/room number on them. (“Stroud, WMU 116”) You will have assistance in unloading your vehicle when you arrive at your Res Hall. All students have received an email about traffic and entering the campus for move-in.
The Geiger Center (GC) is our central student hub. During Move-In Day, there are several reasons you will want to stop by:
You can have your student ID made ahead of time in Geiger Center room 101, or during Move-In Day from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Stop by the lower GC from 9 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the Student Services Fair to ask questions and gather information about our Health Services, Accommodations/Disability Services, Career Development, Parent and Family Engagement, the Elliff Center, and Counseling Services.
