Email Signatures

This tool will allow you to create an OBU-branded signature for your University email account. Please read these instructions before using the tool.

Instructions

The signature tool setup must be done on a desktop or laptop computer. The tool will not work on mobile or tablet devices.

  1. Use the link at the bottom of this page to open up the signature tool. Use the options on the left side of the page to customize your signature.
  2. When complete, follow the instructions at the top of the preview panel to copy your signature.
  3. Open your email app and create a new signature. Paste in the copied signature into the editor and save your changes. Specific instructions will vary from app to app. For Outlook on the web
    1. After logging in, click the gear icon at the top-right and search for “signature.” Find and select Email signature.
    2. In the email signature editor, paste your newly-created OBU signature. It should look identical to what you saw in the signature tool's preview panel. If it does not show up correctly, ensure you are using a supported browser to create and save your signature. (See below for more details.)
    3. After pasting in your new signature, click Save.
Now your custom email signature will be available any time you compose a new message in that app.
