"Called to Care" Nursing Summer Camp

Join Us! July 15–17, 2026

Interested in a career in nursing? Join us at OBU this summer for an up-close look at this rewarding profession. You’ll learn basic nursing care skills centered on compassion and service. Engage with our expert nursing faculty who will offer you guidance and instruction in the classroom and in our state-of-the-art simulation labs.

Our "Called to Care" summer camp is for incoming high school freshmen through seniors. The three-day experience will offer participants a series of practical and interactive sessions with a faith-forward approach.

Learn basic CPR and first aid, practice wound care and dressings, and work with high-fidelity nursing simulation mannequins. The unique on campus experience includes opportunities to learn under the guidance of OBU nursing faculty, alumni, and students.

In addition to the camp’s hands-on sessions that introduce you to nursing skills, you will have the chance to enjoy and experience even more of Bison Hill. During the “Called to Care” camp, you have the chance to dine on campus, enjoy the residence halls, engage in leisure activities and unite with other like-minded students.

Camp Cost

$200 if registered by March 31

$250 beginning April 1
