OBU Spring 2026 Business Forum to Feature Construction Leader Stan Lingo

February 4, 2026

Stan Lingo, founder and owner of Lingo Construction Services, will speak on “Building buildings, prepare, position, praise” at the Oklahoma Baptist University Spring 2026 Business Forum from 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. The forum will be held in the Tulsa Royalties Auditorium in the Bailey Business Center on the OBU campus and is open to students, faculty, staff and the public.

Lingo is the founder and owner of the construction management and general contracting firm based in Oklahoma City. He and his wife, Renee Lingo, established the company in 1998 with a shared commitment to building lasting relationships and delivering thoughtful, well-executed projects. Over the years, Stan and Renee have grown Lingo Construction into a respected organization known for its collaborative approach and strong internal culture.

Formerly a licensed structural engineer, Lingo brings a deep technical understanding to his work, pairing engineering expertise with practical construction leadership. He provides oversight of Lingo Construction’s preconstruction efforts, helping guide planning, budgeting and constructability from the earliest stages of a project. This background shapes his emphasis on problem-solving, accountability and intentional decision-making.

Under Lingo’s leadership, Lingo Construction has become a trusted partner for owners, designers and trade partners across a wide range of public and private work. His focus on integrity, long-term relationships and stewardship of the built environment has made him a respected voice within Oklahoma City’s business and development community.

The OBU Business Forum is designed to connect students and the community with professionals who demonstrate leadership, innovation and service in their fields. Lingo’s participation in the forum highlights the intersection of business leadership, community investment and institutional partnership.

Lingo’s address supports OBU’s academic pillars by reinforcing rigorous, real-world learning, fostering a connected and engaged campus community and preparing students for what’s next through practical leadership insight. His emphasis on integrity, stewardship and purpose-driven work also reflects OBU’s commitment to a faith-forward education.
