College of Nursing Honors Graduates with Zoom Pinning Ceremony, Recognition Video

OBU’s College of Nursing held a special online pinning ceremony May 14 for the graduating class of 2020. All members of the faculty joined the graduating students on a Zoom call, where they spent time sharing and reflecting together, spending time with each other once again.

As part of the program, the College of Nursing faculty prepared a special recognition video featuring all of the graduates. Nursing graduate Abbie Poole performed a song which accompanied the graduate tribute.

Dr. Robbie Henson, dean of the College of Nursing, shared remarks with the students at the opening of the tribute video and encouraged them about the immediate impact they will make on our world today, as they enter their professions during the coronavirus pandemic.
