Bison Hill Hosts Lectures on Faith, History in Victorian Age

Dr. David Bebbington, professor of history at the University of Stirling in Scotland, speaks to Oklahoma Baptist University students and faculty on the topic "Gladstone as Preacher and Reader" on Friday, Aug. 28, in OBU's Geiger Center. Bebbington is one of several presenters during a series of lectures and panels on "Faith and History in the Victorian Age" Aug. 28 and Aug. 31 on Bison Hill. The speakers are exploring the relationship between religion and culture in the 19th century, and the role of faith today in interpreting the past.
