Only directors may complete the nomination form (no students, family members, etc.)
Nominations will be accepted from November 1 to November 30, 2024.
Directors may nominate up to 10 students per school.
List students in order of overall ranking. The top two students from each school will be admitted automatically. The rest of the ensemble will be selected based on director recommendation and instrumentation needs.
Please nominate only those students who will be able to participate if selected.
Selected students will be notified during the week of December 9, 2024.
Selected students will be assessed a $35 participation fee covering the entire Honor Band experience, lunch at IBC, and a t-shirt. Instructions for submission are forthcoming.
Selected students will audition for chair placement upon arrival on Friday, January 31, 2025. Each should prepare a solo or etude that best displays their ability. Auditions will also include scales and sight-reading. Percussionists should be prepared to audition on snare drum, mallets, and timpani.
