Biography
Kaitlin Brown, SLPD, CCC-SLP, is an Assistant Professor for the MS-SLP program. She has been practicing as a Speech-Language Pathologist for 11 years, specializing in pediatrics. She specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Pediatric Feeding/Swallowing Disorders. Kaitlin has extensive experience in pediatric private practice with ages birth-18 and working in the public school system with ages 3-22. She has taught online graduate classes, worked as an Assistant Practicum Coordinator, and supervised online graduate SLP students. Kaitlin also teaches a variety of CEU courses in the areas of AAC and pediatric feeding/swallowing. She loves to spend her free time with her husband and 2 children, reading, traveling, and baking. Kaitlin is also the host of a podcast focusing on AAC in the schools, AAC: Real-Life Edition.
