What happens during an campus visit at OBU?
Personalized Campus Visit
A personalized visit offers a more individualized experience tailored specifically to you and your interests. During your visit, you will receive a guided campus tour, meet one-on-one with an admissions counselor, and have the opportunity to connect with faculty in your intended major. Individual visits are a great option if you prefer a flexible schedule or want a deeper, more focused look at a specific program.
Bison Day
Bison Day is our premier campus visit experience at Oklahoma Baptist University, designed to give you a full, immersive look at life on Bison Hill. During Bison Day, you will join other prospective students to experience chapel, attend a real college class, meet faculty, connect with current students, and explore campus through a guided tour.

You will have the opportunity to see your future dorm room on your guided tour of campus, meet with a faculty member in your field of interest, talk with admissions, and tailor your visit to your interests!
Bison Day
Bison Days allow you the great opportunity to attend Chapel, sit in on an actual class, meet with a faculty member in your area of study, see your future dorm on a guided tour, and more!
Do parents and families attend campus visits?
Yes. We strongly encourage parents and families to attend both Bison Day and individual visits. We offer dedicated sessions for parents during Bison Day, as well as opportunities to meet with admissions and financial aid during individual visits. We know choosing a college is a big decision, and we want your entire family to feel confident and supported in the process.
Where do campus visits begin at Oklahoma Baptist University?
All campus visits begin at Shawnee Hall, which is building 1 on the OBU campus map. Shawnee Hall serves as the home base for admissions, where you will check in and begin your visit experience on Bison Hill.
How will I know if my campus visit is confirmed?
Once you register for a campus visit, you will receive a confirmation email from our admissions team with all the details you need to prepare for your time on campus. If you do not see the email, be sure to check your spam or promotions folder, or reach out to us and we will be happy to assist you.
