OBU and DegreeSight Announce Partnership for Online Transcript Evaluation Tool
October 19, 2022
Oklahoma Baptist University and DegreeSight, a leading provider of branded, online transcript evaluation and degree planner tools for colleges and universities, recently announced the integration of a new OBU Online Transcript Evaluator. This partnership not only helps incoming students discover how their college credits will apply at OBU, but it also assists the admissions office in their ongoing enrollment process.“Now when a prospective student visits our website and wants to know how their college credits will transfer to OBU, they can find out instantly. Also, our admissions team knows they have visited our website and can reach out to offer any additional assistance,” said Will Brantley, vice president for enrollment management. “The great thing is that this helps not only transfer students, but incoming freshmen as well because many of them are coming to OBU with college credit from high school.”
Students can complete and receive answers from the free transfer credit evaluation in as few as five minutes. “DegreeSight’s goal is to make obtaining a degree easier and more accessible for everyone, by empowering universities and students alike with a more frictionless transcript review and degree audit process,” said David Cook, CEO of DegreeSight.
This new integration is just one more step OBU is taking to make transfers easier for students. The OBU Admissions office offers a variety of services to prospective and current services.
