OBU Announces Harvest Court Winners During The Weekend
Oklahoma Baptist University announced the 2026 Harvest Court winners during halftime of its Oct. 3 football game during The Weekend. From left: OBU President Dr. Heath A. OBU announced the 2026 Harvest Court winners during halftime of its Oct. 3 football game against Ouachita Baptist University. The game kicked off at 2 p.m. inside Crain Family Stadium at the Hurt Complex. The announcement took place during The Weekend, OBU’s annual homecoming celebration, held Oct. 1-3.
Seniors were nominated by their peers in six categories and winners were selected by a vote of the OBU student body held earlier in the week.
Kathryn Dublin, a creative writing major from Ozark, Missouri, was crowned Harvest Queen and Spencer Barnhill, a finance major from Edmond, was named Harvest King.
The Best All-Around Woman award went to Shayna Hendrix, an international business major from Kiefer, while Aaron Rother, a theology and ministry major from Shawnee, won Best All-Around Man.
Jocelyn Kitchen, an early childhood education major from Broken Arrow, was selected as the Most Servant-Like Woman and Aden Harland, a theology and ministry major from Bixby and Chengdu, China, won Most Servant-Like Man.
Harvest Queen finalists for 2026 included Faith Holbrook, an early childhood and elementary education major from Overland Park, Kansas, and Zion Davis a special and elementary education major from Edmond.
Harvest King finalists included Luke McGehee, an exercise science pre-allied health major from Sand Springs, and Harry Henslick, a Christian ministry major from Collinsville.
Best All-Around Woman finalists included Kayla Easter, a biology major from Asher, and Lorna Darling, a biology major from Bartlesville.
Best All-Around Man finalists included Hudson Jones, a biology major from Tulsa and Kapsowar, Kenya, and Andrew Branham, a finance major from Edmond.
Most Servant-Like Woman finalists included Sydney Watkins, a global marketplace engagement/teaching English as a second language major from Kingfisher, and Jenna Thompson, a Christian ministry major from Parker, Kansas.
Most Servant-Like Man finalists included Zach Ware, a worship arts major from Edmond, and Zach Johnson, an accounting major from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The crowning of the Harvest Queen is a longstanding OBU tradition that began in 1920, with the title of Harvest King added in 1996. The additional categories of Most Servant-Like and Best All-Around were introduced in subsequent years to recognize character, leadership and contributions to the campus community.
