Oklahoma Baptist University Announces New Faculty Appointments in Health Sciences

Oklahoma Baptist University has announced three faculty appointments within its graduate Health Sciences programs, strengthening instruction in physician associate studies, speech-language pathology and occupational therapy while supporting the university’s commitment to academic excellence and Christian higher education.

Dr. Megan Fox joins OBU as assistant professor in the Master of Science in Physician Associate Studies program, Nicole Hill joins as assistant professor in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program and Dr. Suzanne S. Glaze joins as assistant professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Together, these appointments expand OBU’s ability to prepare students for careers in healthcare through rigorous academics, clinical excellence and Christ-centered education.

Dr. Megan Fox

Fox joins OBU as assistant professor in the Physician Associate Studies program. Her responsibilities include teaching Clinical and Therapeutic Medicine and the Clinical Skills and Reasoning series during the didactic phase of the program while helping prepare future physician associates through innovative instruction and hands-on learning. Prior to joining OBU, she served as director of didactic education and assistant professor in a physician associate program, where she contributed to curriculum development, faculty mentorship, accreditation efforts and program assessment.

Fox earned a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University before completing a Doctor of Medical Science degree. A nationally certified physician assistant since 2010, she has practiced in urgent care, family medicine, telemedicine and primary care within inpatient psychiatry while also serving in medical leadership and clinical quality management roles. Her scholarly interests include competency-based medical education, workplace-based assessment and video pedagogy, with a passion for integrating faith and learning to prepare compassionate, practice-ready healthcare professionals.

Nicole Hill

Hill joins the faculty as assistant professor in the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program. Her responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in pediatric speech and language disorders and interprofessional collaboration, advising graduate students, serving on the program’s Student Success and Clinical Education committees and providing clinical mentoring during externships. She earned a Bachelor of Science in General Studies with an elementary education emphasis and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Hill brings extensive experience serving children from birth through age 21 in school-based, private practice and teletherapy settings. Her professional interests include early intervention, pediatric communication disorders, teletherapy and interprofessional education. Her combination of clinical expertise and student-centered instruction strengthens OBU’s commitment to preparing highly skilled speech-language pathologists.

Dr. Suzanne S. Glaze

Glaze joins OBU as an assistant professor in the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program. Her responsibilities include teaching occupational therapy courses across classroom, online and hybrid learning environments while mentoring students through evidence-based instruction and professional formation. She brings more than three decades of clinical practice and more than seven years of experience in higher education, with expertise in acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehabilitation and hand therapy.

Glaze earned a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the Medical College of Georgia and a post-professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions. A Certified Hand Therapist, she has taught courses in neuroscience, applied anatomy, adult and older adult practice, wellness and health promotion, leadership and professionalism and assistive technology. Her teaching emphasizes experiential learning, evidence-based practice and Christ-centered mentorship that prepares students to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care.
