OBU Recognizes Employees for Years of Service at May 8 Event

OBU recognized employees for milestone years of service during a recognition event on May 8 at the Geiger Center on the OBU campus.

Alan Dodgion, plumber, was honored for 45 years of service.

Dale Utt, associate professor of biology, was honored for 35 years of service.

Deborah Brittain, Kemp Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic receptionist; Sherri Raney, professor of history and political science; and Tina Nickerson, administrative assistant, teacher education, were honored for 30 years of service.

Lori Hagans, director of career services and parent engagement, was honored for 25 years of service.

Brian Camp, professor of family science, and John Powell, professor of history, were honored for 20 years of service.

Brett Askin, reserve police officer/armed security officer; Corey Fuller, Ruth Jay Odom professor of fine arts/professor of graphic design; and Jana VanderTook, director of faculty services and assessment, were honored for 15 years of service.

Christopher Cox, head baseball coach; William Gordon, groundskeeper II; Greg Gothard, offensive coordinator, football; Erin Guleserian, director of the residential experience; Micah Hamilton, director of tech support; Diane Mimnaugh, administrative assistant; Alan Noble, associate professor of English; Cody Painter, assistant baseball coach; Jessica Stiles, director of spirit and stunt; Perry Tripp, programmer/analyst; Kellie Young, Violet Sturgeon Minton associate professor in early childhood education, were honored for 10 years of service.

Charles, Ackerly, public services librarian; Michael Bolgrin, director of recreation and wellness center; Allison Coffman, director of community experience; Daniel Eaton, assistant football coach; Matthew Gillentine, system administrator/analyst; Micah Meek, associate dean of online, nontraditional and graduate education, assistant professor of Christian ethics; Tanner Morris, associate athletics director for external operations; Glenn (Bo) Overton, head women’s basketball coach; and Brennyn Seagler, assistant women’s basketball coach, were honored for five years of service.
