OBU Alumna Hannah Landry receives prestigious professional Award

OBU Alumna Hannah Landry received the Young Advertising Professional of the Year (YAPY) Award recently during the American Advertising Awards in Oklahoma City.

Landry graduated from OBU in 2016, earning a communication studies bachelor’s degree with a marketing minor. While on Bison Hill, she also played softball for OBU from 2012-2016.

Landry is the vice president of account services at Krush, a full-service marketing and advertising agency in Oklahoma City. She is serving as president of AAF Oklahoma (American Advertising Federation) this year, as well.

“I am truly humbled and honored to receive the YAPY award,” she said. “I've been striving for this award since I got my start in the industry 6 ½ years ago. Getting involved and serving AAF Oklahoma fills my cup to give back to the marketing and advertising community in Oklahoma.

“My time at OBU shaped me into the professional I am today. OBU prepared me in more ways than I could understand when I was going through my four years. I am thankful for the quality education I received at OBU and am a proud alumna.”
