OBU Announces 2018 Harvest Court Candidates

OBU recently announced candidates for its 2018 Harvest Court. The University will honor these outstanding seniors during the annual Harvest Court ceremony Saturday, Nov. 3, at halftime of the Bison football game against Northwestern Oklahoma State University. The game will begin at 2 p.m. The event is a part of OBU’s homecoming celebration Nov. 2-4.

Senior students were nominated by their peers in six different categories: harvest king, harvest queen, best all-around male, best all-around female, most servant-like male and most servant-like female. The student body will vote on the finalists Monday, Oct. 29, immediately following the Spirit Assembly Chapel in the Noble Complex at 10 a.m. Students may vote via an electronic option sent by SGA through student email or in person at a voting station in the GC. Voting will open at 11 a.m. and close at 5 p.m.

Finalists for harvest queen include Morgan Cherry, Savannah Payne and Stephanie Tucker. Finalists for harvest king include Graham Griffin, Jacob Jolly and Josh Pumphrey.

Finalists for best all-around male include Ben Cale, Bradley Hetherington and Jonathan Knox, while best all-around female candidates include Anna Arrington, Kayla Thompson and Moriah Lamb.

Finalists for most servant-like female include Jasmine Mitchell, Rachel Lee and Sarah Claibourn. Most servant-like male finalists include Heath McClure, Jonathan Ball and Daniel Turner.
