Oklahoma Baptist University and Gordon Cooper Technology Center have partnered to offer an advanced science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) camp for high school students. The camp will be held Monday, June 4, through Friday, June 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Wood Science Building on OBU’s campus in Shawnee.
The camp will feature hands-on lab activities in biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, physics and astronomy. Students will also gain insight into STEM at the university level through professor-guided exploration and engaging activities.
The cost of the camp is $25 with lunch provided and is open to students completing 9th-12th grades. Students in the Shawnee area who need transportation to and from OBU can arrange to ride the Gordon Cooper bus from a local school.
