Bailey to Lead OBU’s Bison Way Chapel Feb. 20

Bertholomew “Prophet” Bailey, OBU alumnus and former admissions counselor, will lead OBU’s Bison Way Chapel Monday, Feb. 20. The event will take place at 10 a.m. in the Noble Complex.
Bailey served at OBU an admissions counselor from 2011-2017, but left at the beginning of February to work as an academic advisor at the University of Oklahoma.
Bailey, a graduate of OBU, majored in biblical studies and minored in pastoral ministry. He was a member of the Bison track team, winning two national championships under coach Ford Mastin.
He is the current pastor of St. John Baptist Church, a 110-year-old church in Brooksville, Oklahoma. Prophet is the 7th of 11 children. He is the fourth preaching son of pastor Bertrand Bailey, Sr.
Bailey is married to Nikol, his high school sweetheart. They have three beautiful children; Karrie, PJ and Kelley.
