OBU presented the JM Carroll Award to Kelly King, Tuesday, Nov. 15, during the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma’s (BGCO) annual meeting held at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City.

The award is given in recognition of outstanding denominational service in the state of Oklahoma. It is named for Dr. J.M. Carroll, who served as OBU’s first president, helping establish the foundation upon which OBU’s tradition of excellence has been built.
The 110th annual meeting of the BGCO was held Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 14-15, at Quail Springs Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. The theme, "Legacy," was emphasized through sermons, reports, and business sessions.
