David's Creed to Lead Worship at Immanuel Baptist Church Sept. 27

David's Creed, OBU's auditioned touring worship band, will lead worship Sunday morning, Sept. 27, at Immanuel Baptist Church in Shawnee. The group will lead during all three services, at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. The church is located at 1451 E. 45th Street in Shawnee.

The group is a praise ensemble whose primary purpose is to connect OBU with the churches in Oklahoma and the surrounding region by serving those churches in worship through music, testimony and God's Word. Participants receive scholarship money, must maintain a 2.5 grade point average, and must be of exemplary character.

Members for 2015-16 edition of David's Creed include Colton Seamans, guitar and vocals; Iveth Luna, vocals; Megan Mattke, keyboard and vocals; Demarcus Baysmore, electric guitar; Victoria Thutchley, violin and vocals; Alexander Holland, drums; Trevor Schlosser, bass; Ryan Gay, sound technician; and Emmalee Ewbank, guitar and vocals. The group is led by Justin Pierce, Instructor of Instrumental Music at OBU.
