College of Nursing Recognizes Outstanding Student

OBU's College of Nursing recognized an exceptional graduating student during the 2015 Awards Convocation Wednesday, May 6.

Lepaine Sharp-McHenry, dean of the College of Nursing, presented the award.

Jenna Huckabee, a nursing major from Rockwall, Texas, received the Outstanding Senior in Nursing Award, presented to the student who has demonstrated exceptional ability in the field of nursing. She will graduate with the designation magna cum laude. Students graduate with the designation magna cum laude for maintaining at least a 3.70 grade-point average.

Huckabee will participate in Spring Commencement Friday, May 15, in Raley Chapel's Potter Auditorium.
