OBU and Immanuel Baptist Church, Shawnee, welcome Keith and Kristyn Getty in concert Monday, Sept. 15, at 7 p.m. The event will take place in Raley Chapel's Potter Auditorium on the OBU campus, located at 500 West University in Shawnee. The evening of worship is part of the "Hymns for the Christian Life" tour and will feature the Getty's full Celtic band and a 100-voice choir of singers from area churches. The renowned Keith Getty and Stuart Townend hymn, "In Christ Alone," has remained the most popular song for congregations throughout the UK for seven years, among CCLI's top 10 in North America, and has been honored by both the British Hymn Society and BBC Songs of Praise all time lists.
