Sinko to Perform Senior Recital April 28

OBU student Lauren Sinko will perform her senior piano recital Monday, April 28, at 7 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium on the OBU campus. The community is invited to attend the free event.

Sinko is a piano performance major with a pedagogy emphasis from Tecumseh, Okla. The daughter of George and Serena Cooper, Sinko is from the studio of Dr. Michael Dean, associate professor of music.

The recital will feature pieces by Beethoven, Chopin, Hovhaness, Shostakovich, and others.

Sinko is a member of the Bisonettes Women's Glee Club, where she has served as historian. She has been named to the Dean's and President's Honor Roll. Upon graduation, she plans to pursue a doctorate in pharmacy. She is married to Kyle Sinko.
