Stone to Perform Senior Recital March 2

OBU student Jessica Stone will perform her senior saxophone recital Sunday, March 2, at 2:30 p.m. in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium. The community is invited to attend.

Stone is a music education major from Catoosa, Okla. The daughter of Jeff and Debbie Stone, she is from the studio of Dr. Christopher Neal, associate professor of music. The recital will include works by Bach, Noda, and Maurice.

During her time on Bison Hill, Stone has been named to the President's Honor Roll five times and Dean's Honor Roll twice. She is a member of the National Association for Music Educators, Historian and Secretary of Kappa Kappa Psi, member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Kappa Delta Pi, principal saxophone for the Symphonic Winds, lead alto saxophone for the Bison Jazz Orchestra, and member of the Saxophone Choir.

Following graduation, Stone plans to teach band in the fall of 2014.

The audience is cordially invited to a reception in Raley Chapel Room 142 immediately following the recital.
