She also is a member of Sigma Alpha Iota, and she has served as recording secretary for two years. Additionally, she is a member of Kappa Delta Pi, National Honor Society, and University Chorale, a mixed choral group at OBU.
Marchbanks has been named to the President's Honor Roll and Dean's Honor Roll. She has received numerous music, endowed and academic scholarships. She participated in OBU Opera Theatre's "The Marriage of Figaro" in 2011. Recently, she was chosen to sing the National Anthem at the 2012 NAIA Men's Basketball Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.
Following graduation in May, Marchbanks plans to move to Kansas City to teach preschool, record an album and work in field supervision at a baseball complex.
