OBU Honors Veterans

OBU paid tribute to United States military veterans during a special Veterans' Day Ceremony Friday, Nov. 11, as part of the 2011 OBU Homecoming festivities. Ridenour, associate professor of philosophy, is a chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserve; McClellan is a former U.S. Army infantry officer; and Whitlock has sons serving in both the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy.

Morganne Garcia, an OBU sophomore from Rogers, Ark., plays "America" and "Taps" on the trumpet as part of the special Veterans' Day Ceremony.
