The Bison won their 30th game of the season, improving to 30-8 overall and 14-7 in the Sooner Athletic Conference.

OBU broke a scoreless tie in the second on a two-run single by Josh Kirkpatrick and upped the lead to 6-0 in the third with a three-run triple by Cody Lambeth, with Lambeth later scoring on an error.

The Bison added three more in the fourth for a 9-0 lead on a two-run home run by Josh Collazo and a run-scoring passed ball.

After OC broke up Adam Garner's (5-1) shutout in the fifth, the Bison made it a 12-1 lead in the sixth, getting a two-run triple by Kirkpatrick and an RBI double from Billy Thomas.

The Eagles scored twice in the sixth to stave off a run rule, but the Bison piled on four more in the ninth with RBI singles by Chris Chambers and Eric Neff, an RBI double by Lambeth and an RBI ground out by Anthony Robertson.

Collazo and Kyle Cooper had three hits each for the Bison, while Thomas, Chambers, Lambeth, Whitt Barkley and Kirkpatrick added two each. Lambeth and Kirkpatrick had four RBI each.
