Oklahoma Baptist University thrower John Armstrong won three events at the Ray Vaughn Track Classic at Oklahoma Christian Saturday.
Armstrong, a sophomore from Lincoln, Calif., won the shot put with a heave of 41-8.75. He went on to win the discus with a throw of 137-4 and the hammer throw with a loft of 152-7.
Jacob Cribbs, a sophomore from Midwest City, was second in the hammer at 109-3.
Kimberly Maley, a sophomore from New Market, Md., won the women's hammer throw with a toss of 137-1.5.
Parker Jackson, a freshman from Ozark, Mo., was second in the decathlon with 5,692 points. He won the pole vault portion of the event.
