March 11, 2008

It was the second shutout of the season for Beach.

The Lady Bison scored twice in the first inning on RBI singles by Kaley Dickerson and Brittney Day.

OBU made it a 3-0 game in the second on another RBI single by Dickerson.

Vanessa Fortune singled home a run in the top of the seventh.

The Lady Bison had 15 hits in the game, including three by Jami Pate and two each by Alyssa Henkes, Dickerson, Beach, Day and Fortune.

Whitney Heltzel went the distance for her first shutout of the season in the second game, scattering three hits.

OBU got both its runs in the third inning on a two-run single by Jayme Boyer.

The Lady Bison had nine this, led by Henkes with three.
