Boyer Named SAC Player of the Week

Oklahoma Baptist catcher Jayme Boyer is Sooner Athletic Conference Softball Player of the Week for Feb. 25-March 2.

Boyer, a junior from Shawnee, Okla., batted .625 with a 1.542 slugging percentage for the week, smacking six home runs and driving in 17 runs for the game. She scored 14 runs and had four doubles. Boyer and teammate Brooke Stevens hit three home runs each and Brittney Day added another in a win over Park University to tie an NAIA record with seven home runs in a game.
