Bison Ranked Eighth in Poll

Oklahoma Baptist University's 16-1 start has gotten notice.

The first regular season Top 25 poll has the Bison, who received no votes in the preseason poll, ranked eighth in the nation.

The Bison will be tested quickly. Their first opponent as a rated team is No. 4 Lubbock Christian. The Chaps play a three-game set at Bison Field at Ford Park Friday and Saturday.

Oklahoma City is ranked sixth and Wayland Baptist is ranked 14th.
