OBU Alums Perform On Campus

Danny and DeAnna Calhoun have been performing together as a two-piano team for the last 10 years. The Oklahoma Baptist University graduates will perform at their alma mater Friday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m., in Raley Chapel's Yarborough Auditorium.

The concert will feature works of Camille Saint-Saens, Manuel Infant, and a collection of some of the Calhouns' own hymn arrangements.

The Calhouns received their degrees in piano performance. Danny earned his master's degree at the University of North Texas, and DeAnna earned her master's degree in piano performance from the University of Oklahoma.

Both have been presenters at music festivals and auditions throughout Oklahoma. They are members of Music Teachers National Association, Oklahoma Teachers Association, and Music Teacher's National Association.

The Calhouns are members at Friendship Baptist Church in Owasso, Okla., and maintain a private piano studio.
