Bison Linksters Sixth at OC Event

OBU's Bison golf team placed sixth in the 11-team Sleep Inn & Suites Classic Tuesday, hosted by Oklahoma Christian University at River Oaks Country Club.

The Bison finished at 936, behind Oklahoma Christian, Wayland Baptist, Texas Wesleyan, Southern Nazarene and Embry-Riddle.

Josh Bryan led the OBU contingent with a 21st-place 230 over three rounds. Mark Richards was 32nd at 234, followed by Russell Kern in 38th (235), Jason Carpenter in 45th (240) and Rigele Dean in 58th (250).

Next action for OBU is the SAC/Region VI Tournament at Quail Ridge Country Club in Oklahoma City April 11-12.
