OBU's baseball team extended its season-opening win streak to four games before Lubbock Christian put a stop to the festivities Sunday at Hardin-Simmons University's Classic in Abilene, Texas.

The Bison ransacked College of the Southwest 12-4 before getting stung by LCU 16-2 to place OBU at 4-1 with a game with host HSU set for Monday at noon.

The Bison trailed CSW 3-0, but scored 10 unanswered runs and went on to the 12-4 victory.

Felix Peguero led the OBU 12-hit attack with a home run and a single for four RBI and two runs scored. Danny Guidry and Aaron Dickson were both 2-for-5. Dickson, Frankie Ibarra, Nick Bakich, Rett Terrell and Eric Curry all had an RBI. Ibarra and Terrell had doubles and Curry had a triple.

Brent Terrell went five innings for the win with Brent Roberts getting a four-inning save.

The Bison were held to just six hits in the LCU loss, with Adam Dalby collecting two. Rett Terrell homered home Danny Guidry in the seventh for OBU's only runs.

Chris Ryan, who was battling illness, took the loss to drop to 1-1 on the season.
