OBU Women Third at SNU Golf Invitational

Jennifer Mann shot a two-round 161 to lead Oklahoma Baptist University's golf team to a third place finish at the Southern Nazarene University Invitational Tuesday at Rose Creek Golf Club in Oklahoma City.

Mann shot an 81 and an 80 for fifth place. Maggie Cole was 11th with a 166, shooting a pair of 83s. Michelle Hunter was 17th at 169 with an 80 and an 89.

Amber McMurry shot an 85 and a 93 for a 26th-place 178. Brittany Brooks was 28th at 181 on a 94 and an 87.

OBU will wrap up the fall portion of the women's golf schedule with a trip to Winfield, Kan., Oct. 11-12 for the Southwestern Classic. OBU's men will also participate in that event.
