Magallon Wins SAC Honor

Oklahoma Baptist University freshman Daniel Magallon earned Sooner Athletic Conference and Region VI Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors Monday for the week Sept. 26-Oct. 2.

Magallon, a freshman forward from Sao Paulo, Brazil, scored three goals in a 6-1 win over Sterling College after debuting for OBU with a two-goal performance in a 4-1 win over McPherson University. Both games were road wins for the OBU women. Magallon had five goals for the road trip.

OBU, now 5-3, will try to even its Sooner Athletic Conference record with a home game against USAO Thursday at 1 p.m.
