Rain Delays OBU-Wayland Contest

Heavy rains in the Oklahoma City area caused OBU's second game in the NAIA Region VI baseball tournament to be delayed to 12:30 p.m. Friday, May 14. The Bison will face Wayland Baptist in the contest.

WBU defeated Houston Baptist University Wednesday, while OBU topped Bacone College.

The tournament's second day of play was limited to one game and one inning. In the day's opener, Houston Baptist eliminated Lubbock Christian with a 9-2 victory. The second contest, between host and top-ranked Oklahoma City University and Bacone College, was halted after a scoreless first inning. Those two teams will meet at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
