Bison Add Fraser to Fall Line-up

Oklahoma Baptist University has signed 6-7 forward Mike Fraser to a men's basketball scholarship for the 2004-05 season.

Fraser, a junior from Frederick, Md., comes to OBU from San Jacinto Junior College, where he averaged 7 points and 6.5 rebounds his sophomore year after leading the team in blocked shots as a freshman.

"He's a big, strong player who will rebound and block shots," said OBU coach Doug Tolin. "He will really be a good fit for us. I think the best thing you can say is that he comes from a very good program and he will come here expecting to win. We're very happy to have him and have another San Jacinto player here."

The signing continues a string of San Jacinto players to come to OBU. Other recent SJC players at OBU have included Leonard Mosley and David Williams.

Fraser started for San Jacinto's national finalist squad.
