Tenor Returns For Recital

Dr. Warren's repertoire includes a mix of ancient and contemporary music, including selections by J. S. Bach, Felix Mendelssohn, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Eric Thiman, Craig Courtney, and Ken Medema. His program will be divided into three parts, which he has titled "Faith," "Hope" and "Love."

Warren served on OBU's faculty from 1997-99 before his current position. He also has served as a faculty member at the Aspen Music Festival and School and maintained a private voice studio in New York City for eight years.

Warren is an avid performer in operas, oratorios, festivals, concerts and recitals and as a soloist with orchestras and choral groups around the country.

He earned bachelor of music and master of music degrees from Eastman School of Music. He earned a doctoral degree from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and completed post-graduate work at Britten-Pears School in Aldeburgh, England.

He and his wife, Lee, have one child.
