Mikles to Speak in Chapel

Oklahoma Baptist University alumni Ronda Shelton Mikles will speak in OBU's Nov. 28 chapel service. Mikles is a 1975 graduate of OBU and the owner of Mikles' Marketing & Management, Inc.

The company, a consulting firm specializing in customer relations, stress management and motivational speaking, was formed in 1993. Mikles' lifelong dream was to lead seminars that would bring change in the lives of others.

Prior to opening her own business, Mikles served as general sales manager for Oklahoma News Network and was named one of the top two sales managers in 1992 by Clear Channel Communications.

Mikles is former president of the Oklahoma City Chapter of American Women in Radio and Television and has been a judge at the National Commendation Awards in Washington D.C. In 1994 she was selected as an OBU Profile of Excellence recipient.

She has served as keynote speaker for a number of state and national conferences and has conducted sales and motivational seminars throughout the U.S.

Mikles and her husband, Jody, reside in Elk City.
