OBU Music Scholarship Audition Dates

The Oklahoma Baptist University Warren M. Angell College of Fine Arts will hold auditions for music scholarships for the 2000-2001 academic year Feb. 21 and March 4. Students unable to attend one of these audition dates need to contact the Division of Music as soon as possible to arrange an individual audition.

The university's Music Main Event will be held Feb. 21. This annual event allows prospective music students the opportunity to observe classes, lessons, and rehearsals, meet with faculty, and attend one of the premiere performing events of the year. The university's 26th annual Concerto-Aria Concert, 8:30 p.m., Feb.21, allows student pianists, vocalists, and instrumentalists to perform with a professional orchestra. The concert is free and open to the public.

March 4 is a University Preview Day, offering prospective students the chance to visit with faculty, attend financial aid sessions, and tour the campus. This date is also the deadline for music scholarship auditions for the 2000-2001 academic year.
