Biography
Megan Fox, DMSc, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Associate and educator with more than 15 years of clinical experience and significant experience in physician assistant and doctoral medical education. She earned her Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Methodist University and her Doctor of Medical Science degree with a concentration in medical education from the University of Lynchburg.
Prior to joining Oklahoma Baptist University, Dr. Fox served as faculty in the Doctor of Medical Science Program at Lincoln Memorial University and as Director of Didactic Education for the Cedarville University Physician Assistant Program. Her academic leadership experience includes curriculum development, accreditation preparation, student success initiatives, and faculty collaboration.
Dr. Fox's clinical background includes urgent care, family medicine, and telemedicine, providing care to patients across the lifespan. She has also served in healthcare leadership roles focused on provider education, quality improvement, and clinical operations.
Her professional interests include competency-based medical education, workplace-based assessment, medical education pedagogy, and healthcare leadership. Outside of academia, Dr. Fox enjoys spending time with her husband, Nathan, and their four children. She is also passionate about entrepreneurship and community development, pursuing projects that contribute to the vitality and growth of her local community in southwest Ohio.
