Biography
Jason Bengs is an educator and school administrator with a career spanning K-12 and higher education. He began his path in the classroom as an intermediate and middle school teacher covering math, science, and social studies before transitioning into school leadership. Over the years, he has served as a school principal, technology director, and professional learning director, while also establishing expertise as a technical database administrator and PowerSchool SIS specialist. Today, he works in higher education as an Instructional Technologist and Designer, while also teaching in the school of education.
Jason lives in Shawnee, Oklahoma, with his family. His wife, Jalonda, also serves at Oklahoma Baptist University as an associate professor in the school of education. Their daughter, Britten, is currently navigating university life and actively participating in mission work. Together, they enjoy staying grounded in their local community and supporting one another's academic and creative endeavors.
