“OBU helped me answer my calling in life through a kaleidoscope of rich experiences. My professors instilled habits of self-reflection and a willingness to evolve my teaching, habits that remain with me to this day. Perhaps the most important seed planted by OBU is the knowledge and acceptance that I cannot be everything for my students, but I can point them in the direction of Jesus who is everything; for this I am grateful." - Katie Thompson, '13, 2020 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year Finalist
