OBU Day in the Churches
Thank you for planning to participate in the OBU Day in the Churches event. Our goal is to have churches from across Oklahoma emphasize Oklahoma Baptist University in the following ways:
- Show an OBU Video in the morning worship service (5 minutes).
- Print OBU information in the morning worship bulletin (choose from several options).
- Provide a 2 to 3-minute testimony about OBU from a member in your church.
Select a current member who:
- attended OBU
- graduated from OBU
- served or serves as a board of trustee member
- has a son or daughter who attended or currently attends OBU
- has a wonderful memory of a current or past faculty member or administrator
Ask the volunteer to share their story with the church with the purpose of:
- raising awareness of the positive work OBU is doing for the Kingdom of God
- raising awareness of the strong academic work done by Oklahoma Baptist University
- raising awareness that Oklahoma Baptists founded OBU to “educate their youth”
